The Carpenters - “What are you doing New Year’s Eve?”

The above statement is so painfully true.

However the closer we get to NYE the more grateful I am to have someone to kiss that night.  Challenging though they may be, relationships are also beautifully rewarding.

As we creep toward the last holiday of the season, I’m beginning to feel the warm fuzzies of thanks.

So, with gratitude and schmaltz, I choose The Carpenters’ “What are you doing New Year’s Eve” as my, just a little lovin’, with a song and a smile, one fine day, song for a, consort to a queen, small victories, every little step, Thursday.
