Scott Matthew - "I Wanna Dance With Somebody"

Scott Matthew is arguably one of my favorite imports from down under. His wild style and slippery, melancholic voice make for great music for rainy days. He’s got that draw that makes you want to keep listening just so you can hear how he tackles a phrase or a line of melody. It’s almost hypnotic in it’s distilled beauty. 

I’ve written about him a few years ago, but today this song popped into my head, and I thought it very apropos. 

So, today, without drama or flair, I choose Scott Matthew’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” as my, silence can be golden, sometimes letting it rest is all you can do, you don’t always have to make a fuss to make a statement, song for a, serene, solemn, and sound Thursday.
